Case Study for major supplier of Robot Systems
C-Trak Conveyors has secured the order for a large conveyor system to be provided to a major supplier of robot systems.
Comprising of numerous slat conveyors and several special design pallet conveyors, the equipment forms part of a system handling composites within the Scottish Whisky Industry.
A variety of product sizes and shapes had to be accommodated including specific product flow changes, crossovers, build back and variable guiding.
After many size changes the layout was agreed and C-Trak were tasked with building them all within a very tight timeframe. This is a situation that C-Trak have carried out on many occasions and utilising our 30 years in business experience, the dates were met.
Key to the whole project being successful, was C-Trak’s identification of detail at an early stage, as well as suggesting certain specific design changes to ensure the interface with the Robot equipment achieved the right end result.
Needless to say, extra equipment was added throughout the manufacture and C-Trak absorbed these whilst still maintaining the end delivery date.
