Incline Mini Belt Conveyor System Operation
Flat Belt Conveyor “A”: 1 No. Mini Belt Conveyor being 150mm wide x 800mm long 870mm high. The belt is a low friction PU material. A shaft mounted geared motor drive unit was included positioned Right Hand side viewed from feed end; there is an extension of 10mm dia x 50mm on the opposite side to fit an existing encoder.
Flat Belt Conveyor “B”: 1 No. Small Belt Conveyor as above but 600mm long and drive unit positioned Left Hand side viewed from feed end; an encoder was not required. This conveyor was designed to be reversible.
Small Incline Conveyor “C”: 1 No. Mini Belt Conveyor as above but 1250mm long inclined at approx 36 degrees x 500mm long horizontal discharge; the height range is 820-1485mm. The belt is a high grip silicon material so the blister pack do not slip. The drive unit was positioned on the Left Hand side viewed from feed end; an encoder was not required. There are side guides 20mm high close to the belt along the full length.
Support Frame: There was a free standing support frame of 1000 x 1000 x 1400mm high x 40mm box section partially around the conveyors, and allowance was made to support all three conveyors within the frame via bolt on brackets; conveyor “C” will had a set of box section support legs immediately after the wall, these were wider than the conveyor for stability. The frame and legs have adjustable feet +50mm.
Within the support frame, there were two product catchment bins for product reject etc. These are approx 300 x 250mm high x 500 & 650mm long, each sit on angle supports and have a handle for pull out removal; sheet product guides into the bins were included.
On three sides there are 6mm clear polycarbonate bolt on (via spacers) covers including cutouts for the conveyors as appropriate. On one side (R H viewed from the feed) was a 10mm clear polycarbonate hinged doors, and on the top a half bolt on half hinged cover; the hinged half was across the feed end.
General: All transfers on above are 35mm diameter.
All drives were positioned within the support frame.
The centreline distance between conveyors “A” & “B” is 170mm, and these belts have central tracking grooves.
The bins were positioned within the support frame such that the hinged doors will need to open to gain access.
General construction of all above is grade 304 stainless steel and food quality materials where possible.
