Grip Face Belt Conveyor Operation
1 No. Special Tray Transfer Unit being nominally 500mm wide x 1000mm long x 800mm high to base of tray.
The unit comprises of a pair of side mounted grip face belt conveyors with a belt height of 80mm. Both conveyors are linked as a pair and mounted on a bevel gear shaft/bearing housing arrangement with a common shaft mounted drive.
The conveyors can be adjusted in and out from 100mm to 250mm via a simple slotted bracket arrangement and locked into position.
The belt conveyors are each 1000mm long and overhang the support frame ends equally to assist in the infeed/discharge conveyors interface.
The unit was mounted as a whole on a box section support frame c/w adjustable feet +50mm. There is a pair of wear strips at the infeed and outfeed ends 200mm long
An open area of 200mm was provided at the centre to allow the camera to look through as the product passes.
The equipment was intended to transfer the trays gripping via the rims.
