This metal detector unit was for a pet food manufacture that required a metal detection unit to be integrated into their system. C-Trak designed and manufacturered a bespoke modular belt conveyor with bends to fit into the factory between existing machinery. The large sacks of dog food are dropped onto the conveyor and scanned by the metal detection unit and then transported to the next pick and pack area.
This application was for transporting airline meals with a built in metal detection unit that rejects any trays with metal objects into the reject bin.
